David P. Levin created and executive produced Animal Planet's first foray into comedy, the weekly countdown series "THE A-LIST". The show was created from scratch and premiered in eight weeks: a total of 24 episodes, two a week airring back to back starring comedians like Ralphie May, Vic Cohen, Loni Love, Danny Bonaduce, Each show featured a celebrity "expert": Loudmouths of the animal world starred Gilbert Gottfried, Moms of the animal world starred Shirley Jones, etc.
